Tribunal Officers are elected in the Winter and Spring
quarters for the upcoming school year. Section 2 Officers are elected at
the end of Winter quarter, while President and Section 1 Officers are
elected at the end of Spring.
A President interacts with faculty/administration
and supervises the Vice President, Associate Vice President, Treasurer, and
Secretary, to direct actions of the organization, and to run all general
and executive meetings. The President also appoints chairs for all
standing committees and makes all decisions not requiring a vote.
A Vice President acts in place of the President in
his/her absense and enacts all ammendments to the Constitution and Bylaws. The Vice President
oversees Career Fair, Special Events, and Technology Committee Chairs and promotes
delegation of responsibility throughout the various members.
Associate Vice President oversee Big
Brother/Big Sister, Evaluations, Collegiate
Affiars, Recognition and Student Organization Communications Committee Chairs and
promote delegation of responsibility throughout the various members.
The active Secretary facilitates the operation of
the Engineering Tribunal by tracking meeting attendance, securing committee
member lists, and maintaining meeting minutes.
Senators conduct student business, govern how student government money is spent, and
represent the student body on collegiate issues.
Each Treasurer oversees the financial operations of
UCET, prepares yearly budgets, registers the organization as an official
student group with SALD,
and pays bills.
